We may require you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law, typically within 30 to 45 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 9. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 9 years of age. If you are under 9, please do not use the App or provide any information through the App.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 9 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 9, please contact us at communitybuildersglobal@gmail.com.

Parents and guardians should monitor their children's internet and mobile device usage and ensure that children do not provide personal information through applications without permission.

10. Location Data

Our App collects and uses location data to provide location-based services and features. We collect both precise geolocation data (when you enable location services) and approximate location information (such as location derived from IP address).

10.1 How We Use Location Data

We use location data to:

  • Connect you with nearby community members
  • Show location-relevant content and services
  • Provide directions and navigation features
  • Enable location-based search functionality
  • Personalize your experience based on your location
  • Analyze geographic usage patterns
  • Improve location-based features and services

When you upload photos or media to the App, that content may be visible to other users according to your sharing settings. Please be mindful of the content you choose to share and the privacy settings you select.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.

We take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it. When we transfer personal information internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as:

  • Standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities
  • Ensuring third-party service providers are certified under recognized privacy frameworks

  • Obtaining your consent where required by law

By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where we operate.

13. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers and mobile devices transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT signals, our App does not currently respond to DNT signals. We will continue to monitor developments in DNT technology and may implement DNT functionality in the future if industry standards are established.

You can control tracking through other mechanisms, such as managing your device privacy settings, adjusting app permissions, and opting out of targeted advertising through industry opt-out programs.

14. Analytics and Advertising

  • Feature interactions and engagement metrics
  • Performance data and crash reports
  • User demographics and interests (in aggregated form)

Analytics providers may use cookies, SDKs, and other tracking technologies to collect this information. The data is typically aggregated and anonymized before analysis.

14.2 Advertising

We may work with third-party advertising partners to display advertisements within our App or to manage our advertising on other platforms. These partners may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and other technologies to collect information about your activities to provide you with advertising based on your browsing activities and interests.

Payment processors maintain their own privacy policies and terms of service. We do not store complete credit card or payment information on our servers. We may receive limited information from payment processors such as the last four digits of your payment card, transaction amounts, and transaction status for our records and to provide you with purchase history.

Please review the privacy policies of any payment processors you use to understand how they collect, use, and protect your payment information.

Our App may include social media features and integrations, such as the Facebook SDK, social login options, and sharing buttons. These features may collect information about you, including your IP address and which pages you visit in our App, and may set cookies or other tracking technologies.

Social media features are either hosted by the respective social media platforms or hosted directly on our App. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing them. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any social media platforms you connect with our App.

22. California Shine the Light Law
